The Water Pumps purpose is to help circulate the engine coolant through the cooling system.

It plays a vital role in the engine cooling system, and without a fully working Water Pump, serious damage could occur.

Often fitted to the engine cylinder block it pulls the cooled coolant from the radiator and pushes it through the passages in the engine cylinder block and cylinder head.

Controlling the timing of the engines valves, the Timing Belt (cam belt) is responsible for matching the speed of the crankshaft.

It is essential that timing belts are changed at certain intervals as recommended by their manufacture. Leaving it too late, and you run the risk of the belt snapping, which can potentially cause severe engine damage costing thousands to fix.
