An original World War Two German Luftwaffe - D prefix - wristwatch made by Selza, Switzerland.

In World War Two Selza was a leading manufacturer for the Kriegsmarine (Germany Navy) and they also produced watches for the Luftwaffe (German Air Force), Fallschirmjaeger (Parachute Corps) and Flak corps (Anti Aircraft)

The watch face is black and marked:

The back of the watch is marked:

WASSERDICHT

SHOCKRESIST

STAHLBODEN

The reverse of the watch has the Luftwaffe 'D'  prefix and serial number.

The movement is marked:

SELZA BIENNE

SWISS

15 JEWELS

The inside of the screw back is marked:

SWISS

The watch includes a later black military strap.

The watch is in good condition with most of the original silver finish remaining with no loss of the lumen to the face or hands.
