The September 1926 Pictorial Review magazine features a Rolf Armstrong cover illustration.  Rolf Armstrong (1889-1960) was one of America's finest creators of pin-up art.  In the early 20th century Armstrong made his income illustrating sheet music covers and magazines.  In 1960 the New York Times described him as "the creator of the calendar girl."

The Pictorial Review is a complete magazine and is approximately 10.25" x 14" in size and is in good condition with some staining in the lower left corner of the cover.  Please use the included photos as a condition guide.

Chuck Olson Collection

Chuck Olson spent over 40 years collecting and traveling the United States in search of unique vintage prints.  He was especially interested in prints that were printed for use on calendars in the "Age of the Calendar" from 1900-1960. Chuck amassed a collection of well over 10,000 framed and unframed prints before his death.  All of Chuck's items are guaranteed to be vintage and as described and photographed.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the item.
