The Original Mickey Mouse Sterling Silver Limited Edition 2000 Fountain Pen

Obviously manufactured by Namiki Pilot on the basis of the "Custom" Sterling Silver model issued in the mid 1970's.

The only modification by Pilot was the use of the standard cartridges and converter (and not the Pilot proprietary system).

The pen was manufactured as a licence product for the Walt Disney Company and marketed by them. Probably manufactured in Japan and then packed in an American made wooden box (from American walnut).

Understandably, there is no trace of this limited edition in the Pilot pen  history of  limited edition.

This is a licence product for Walt Disney.

This  pen has Mickey Mouse in his classical posture etched on both the sterling silver cap and barrel. 

18k  Gold Medium (M) nib engraved with Mickey Mouse head.
