I AM NOT SELLING A KIT, only a new, full-size copy my original PLAN & construction article for building a FLIPPER, one of the cutest little .010 or .02 powered RC biplanes ever designed.

The FLIPPER has a 22" span and appeared in the 1960s in a British magazine. It is a rudder-only, single-channel, fool-proof design with high dihedral in the wings for stability. It would automatically roll out into level flight following a turn when the rudder was moved to neutral. It was powered by a Cox TD .010 and used an escapement for control of the rudder deflection. That is the way I built mine.

The FLIPPER would be a great model for electric power. And, if you wanted 2-channel control, just hinge the rear of the stabilizer and take about 1/4 of the steep dihedral from the wings. When I built mine, I put little Trexler balloon tires on it. Talk about a soft landing!

You are purchasing a new, white copy of my original PLAN and construction article for the FLIPPER.
