Additional information

Montblanc helped to create the “Philharmonia of the Nation” financed with the edition of the “Donation pens”.

The first of the Donation Pens was the “Léonard Bernstein”, issued in 1996, the Solti pen was issued in 2006.

The pen is new with a “F” nib.

Very nice nib featuring a bird.

The Georg Solti pays tribute to this legendary pianist and conductor. Included as part of the presentation set are two sealed packs of playing cards - this is a nod to his love of Bridge!

The clip symbolises the keyboard of a piano, with the cap rings reflecting the strings. Solti's signature can be found engraved on the barrel and red was chosen as this was the colour he used to write comments on musical scores.
