This new brass holder is for a glass ball shade or any gas shade that has the 4 inch fitter. This fine reproduction holder has a 2 & 7/8" center hole. The 3rd photo ( of plain version on another listing) clearly shows the center mounting area and you can see the 4 small indentations meant to fit over the 4 chimney prong rivets. Fits most of the central draft burners (has a round wick and uses a 2 & 5/8" base chimney)with 4 chimney prongs like Miller, Bradley & Hubbard, Success, etc.
Fits on top of the burner. Has 4 knotches in the center hole to fit down around the 4 chimney prong rivets
