This is a rare set of 6 silver (800) bowls made by A. Henin of Milano, Italy c. 1940's in a hexagon Chippendale style. Each is 15.5 cm diameter ( 6") with a 5.5 cm depth ( 2.16") and 6.11 troy oz (190 grams). A. Henin Silversmiths were active under the sign of the "crossed flatware" registered mark in 1935 with 42|MI.  Founded in Milano, Italy in 1848 obtaining various prizes for their works in Florence and Milan. They went out of business in the 1980's. 
These elegant vintage bowls were purchased by my Italian Nonna in Milano and passed down to my mother and then to me. It's been lovingly cared for and used for special occasions. Putting this on the market due to downsizing and lifestyle changes. Truly for elegant entertaining.
