This is a rare vintage set of 6 silver (800) 'dessert' plates made by A. Henin of Milano, Italy c. 1940's in a Chippendale style. Each is 20.5 cm diameter ( 8") with a 1.5 cm depth ( 0.59") and 9.03 troy oz (281 grams). A. Henin Silversmiths were active under the sign of the "crossed flatware" registered mark in 1935 with 42|MI.  3 of the plates have registered marks in the center and 3 have it on the underside rim as photos show. Founded in Milano, Italy in 1848 obtaining various prizes for their works in Florence and Milan. They went out of business in the 1980's. 

These elegant vintage dessert plates were purchased by my Italian Nonna in Milano and passed down to my mother and then to me. It's been lovingly cared for and used for special occasions. Putting this on the market due to downsizing and lifestyle changes. Truly for elegant entertaining.
