To Replace Your Produce Preserver:

1) Find the Produce Preserver housing inside the refrigerator.
2) Open the housing by pulling up and out on the back.
3)Remove the Produce Preserver pouches from the packaging and place them into the housing. NOTE: For best performance, always use two pouches.
4)Adhere the Produce Preserver housing to the back wall of the crisper drawer according to the instructions included in the package.

What is ethylene and how does it affect food? 

Fruits and vegetables produce a naturally occurring hormone called Ethylene. In addition to controlling several aspects of the normal growth and development, ethylene also induces natural ripening in fruits and vegetables. In fact, a number of fruits and vegetables emit small amounts of ethylene gas during their ripening process. These emissions lead to an increased level of ethylene gas in the air. This in turn threatens the life cycle of post-harvest fruits and vegetables.Our preservers work by absorbing the ethylene gas that produce naturally gives off. This in turn lengthens the life of produce.

In this bundle, you will receive enough preservers for 1 use. They are bundled together in packs of 2 sachets, one for each crisper drawer (most refrigerators have two crisper drawers). Each pack can last up to 6 months. Please note that the indicator strips are not included in this sale
