Flat box cover from an old American shooting game, " Crows In The Corn "
Paper over cardboard, 12 3/16" x 13 5/8"
Parker Brothers , 1930 ( dated 1930 on the back ).

Great color graphics showing black crows in the cornfield eating up the corn.
A dead crow lies on the ground as a farmer runs away, gun in hand, pursued by flying crows.
In the background is a scarecrow , a red barn and silo , fence , and an orange-red sky.
The border is decorated with numerous cartoon crows ; crows wearing hats , ice skating , soaking their crow feet in a bucket , smoking a corncob pipe , crows fighting over an ear of corn , etc.

This would look great matted and framed !

-------

" The Crows are in the Corn " is an old American country saying, meaning " get up and get moving ".
