The Nikkormat EL is a great film camera for beginners or more advanced photographer, as you can shoot in manual mode or in aperture-priority mode, and its shutter can go from 4sec all the way up to 1/1000sec.

The 50mm f/2.0 it is paired with is an around great lens, lightweight and sharp.

It comes with new light seals, mirror foam and a fresh battery: ready to shoot!

Condition:

Fully working camera, as tested with film (see pictures), with its new light seals and mirror foam. Shows signs of use.

• Mechanical: all levers and buttons work as they should, shutter works and speeds are accurate, film advance and rewind work.
• Optics: the mirror, screen and viewfinder are clear. Some dust is showing.
• Electronics: the meter is working, as well as the electronic shutter
• Aesthetics: shows some nice bracing around the edges. Visibles 'bumps' on the prism cover (common weakness of this model), but no impact on functions.

The lens is also fully working and in great condition

• Mechanical: focus and aperture rings are smooth, aperture blades are perfect and without oil.
• Optics: front and rear lens are in good condition. There is no fungus, haze, or separation. Some internal dust.
• Aesthetics: only very minor signs of use. The lettering paint is a bit faded.
