Barbie’s little sister, Skipper, has a great style of her own! Issued in1965-66, Day at the Fair is a cute outfit that matches Barbie’s Fun at the Fair outfit and has the added attraction of a tiny Barbie doll tucked in the pocket. The outfit consists of a Barbie print bodysuit, matching scarf, and red skirt with a pocket of the same Barbie print material. Finally, Skipper pairs this with red flat shoes.
Day at the Fair has never been removed from the original card and cello (mint on card = MOC) and is in mint condition. This outfit has been stored away from heat and light in my non-smoking home, as part of my personal collection. I’ve had an extensive NRFB collection since I began collecting in 1988, but I’ve run out of space and it’s time to share some of these treasures.
