Here's a pair of vintage chalkware bookends from Yellowstone Park.  This is a humorous scene of a mama bear and her cub rooting through a trash bin in front of a log cabin decorated with snowshoes, an axe, an overturned bucket, and trash.  The young bear has its head in the bin while mom watches.  Written on the back of each bookend is:  Ray Baker Family Vacation to Yellowstone Park.  Protective gray felt is on the bottom.  "Yellowstone Park" in incised on the front edge of each. Each measures 5'" high, 5-1/2" across and 3-1/2" deep.

No makers mark.  I estimate these to be from the 1940s - 1950s.

Condition:  Wear to the brown paint and to the gray felt.  See photos.
