In the 7th inning of the 7/8 game between the Yankees and the Twins, Roger Maris slides safely into 3rd on Mickey Mantle's single to right field. The throw from RF Bob Allison to 3rd sacker Rich Rollins (9) was dropped by Rollins, allowing Maris to go to home and score.
