modelled in the form of a pear shaped meiping vase secured by a gilt-decorated trompe l'oeil imitation-lacquer stand with two ripes lotus borne on a thin leafy stem to one side, the vessel exquisitely decorated along the shoulder with a stylised floral frieze above a ruyi-shaped collar, decorated with bats and clouds in gilt on a blue ground, with turquoise glaze interior, back and the base, incised with six characters mark in underglaze blue and gilt, with an original wooden box
