Description:      Vintage 20 page Official Catalogue of The Boys Scouts Association of Canada, produced for use in the 1963 - 1964 Scouting years for youth in Scouts, Wolf Cubs, Rovers, Sea Scouts and also Leaders and other adult volunteers (in later years materials for Venturers and Beavers were also included)

-have added a host of pictures but there are many more pages that feature additional images and descriptions of other items including outer wear, school and fall wear, tents, back packs, camp comforts, outdoor equipment, footwear, knives, axes, flashlights, first aid supplies, presentation awards, books and other literature

-items featured could be purchased by MAIL ORDER or through authorized agents, some catalogues even include a list of Official Stores where items could be purchased across Canada

-many of the OFFICIAL program items in the early eras were produced in the UK and distributed throughout the Commonwealth including Canada, this you may see items that are familiar to you if you collect items from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, or Hong Kong

-the length and breadth of materials produced for use in the program was astounding, camping equipment, uniforms, hats, outdoor wear, shoes, handbooks, resource guides, books, awards, flags and finials

-the Badges and Insignias pages has always been the most fascinating areas for me as there are featured there many of the items I collect such as award, proficiency and rank badges, plumes and hat badges

-the catalogues have lots of amazing images and, of course, pricing of items appropriate to the era, also included in some catalogues were commercial and promotional advertisements
