Many options packed into one slim receiver
It's always exciting when Marantz releases new receivers, and this slimline stereo model is no exception. It's got a little something for everyone in a tidy, space-saving form-factor — like high-resolution audio playback from a USB thumb drive, optical and coaxial inputs for your high-performance streamer or CD player, and a phono input for vinyl afficionados. And with the receiver's built-in HEOS streaming platform, you can explore streaming music sources to rediscover old favorites or to delve into new genres.
Add TV and gaming sound to your setup
The Stereo 70s features six 4K/60Hz HDMI inputs (three that are 8K and 4K/120Hz compatible) and one 4K/8K ARC HDMI output, so you can use it as the hub of a sweet two-channel audio/video setup. Plug in a game console, Apple TV or Roku, and a Blu-ray player in your living room or den, hook up your favorite pair of stereo speakers, and suddenly you've got waay better sound than your TV's built-in speakers could ever give you.
Stream your music with HEOS
Built-in HEOS technology lets you easily play a wide range of digital music — from your personal library, internet radio stations, and popular streaming services like Pandora®, Spotify®, and TIDAL. Apple AirPlay 2 means you can stream audio directly from your iPhone®, iPad®, or Mac® computer. That includes soundtracks from YouTube™ videos and Netflix movies. It will also show up in your player list if you're using Roon (subscription required).
And this receiver can be easily integrated into a wireless multi-room audio system. Stream music to HEOS wireless speakers and components in different rooms, and control each room's sound independently with the free HEOS app. The app lets you control playback, browse music sources, and select which rooms you want to use. Play the same music throughout your home, or listen to something different in each room.
