The original owner worked in a commercial textile factory until the early '70s.

These have been in climate control since I've owned them, but they do have discoloration on the edges of the transfer paper, but not on the images. Each transfer will have different discolorations on the PAPER, not the image itself. 

I impatiently ironed one on an old t-shirt (last picture). As you can see, it's not perfect...but I'm not sure I did it correctly either. If you have a heat press, it will likely turn out a lot better than this.  :)  I used a regular iron and was in a hurry doing it before work.
