Here is a very unusual 8x10 view camera.  I do not see any identification on it but I'm very sure it is a antique Seneca view camera. Some of the unusual features of the camera is it has olive drab bellows which makes me think it was used by the military.  The back is also very different then other back I have seen with large precision reinforments on all four sides of the back.  Another unusual bit with the back is it used 5x8 plate holders. Now while the it took 5x8 holders the opening on the inside is 5x7.  It's all original so I can't really understand why it would be like this. The camera does show wear from use so am really only selling it as an antique collectible.  The lens is a Montgomery Ward and while it fires fines the speeds are not accurate.  The diaphragm does work.  The bellows look very good but have not been tested for light tightness.  Please look at the pictures above and I have included a movie below. Check out my other auctions for more large format cameras and brass lenses. Buyer pays shipping and the shipping quote includes insurance.
