This vintage Bausch & Lomb binocular is a piece of history from the WW2 era 1942. Comes from the Estate of a World War II veteran stationed on Midway Island. It is marked with the U.S. Navy BU Ships Mark I Mod 2 number 100956, and comes with its original case. The binocular features a 50mm objective lens diameter and a maximum magnification of 7x, making it perfect for military use. The porro prism optical design ensures clear and crisp viewing. See photos for details, condition, and description. I will leave any cleaning or restoration to the buyer. Missing straps from case and binoculars. Surface scratch shown in photo and missing paint here and there. Consistent with use during war and given its age. The right eye piece moves freely, left eye piece does not move. Optics are clear when viewing through lenses. The left objective lens metal housing is not perfectly round. Appears to be a slight indentation. See photo. Being sold uncleaned and untouched.
