This listing is for the GREEN Foggy Mountain Coat pictured.  This coat is sized 18 as shown.

New with tags but has been tried on.  There may be a few dog hairs (I have several dogs :-)

Photos show further measures and care instructions.

Below are some tips for selecting the correct size for your dog.

Dog Coat Sizing Tips

Note: The coat size is the back measurement of the dog coat. These are genuine F.M.D. Coats with the even number size tag inside the neck opening. We have added 1/2" to sizes on the ordering pages to reflect the actual back measurement of these dog coats. For example, size 12 actually measures 12.5", which is the same for all dog coat sizes.

Follow these tips to help you find the right dog coat size for your dog.

  • Your dog must be standing straight for proper measurement
  • Find the base of your dog's neck by running your fingers down the back of your dog's neck until you feel where the shoulder blades start
  • With your dog standing straight with its head up, measure from the base of its neck (including shoulder blades) to the base of its tail without letting its rear drop
  • It's easier said than done, so having two people can be helpful
  • Check the breed chart below with the following in mind: Dogs, like people, come in all shapes in sizes, so ask yourself whether your dog is smaller or larger than is considered average for its breed
  • Is your dog between sizes? Consider these tips:
    • Tail up: Round down in size except if your dog is muscular and/or chunky like a Pit Bull or Bull Terrier
    • Tail down: Round up except if your dog is small-boned, slender, or petite
    • Large, muscular, or chunky dogs: Round up
    • Small-boned, slender, or petite dogs: Round down
    • Short legged dogs: If your dog has short legs and a rectangular body type (instead of a more square body type), you may want to look at the Dachshund cut dog coats, which have shorter side depth (girth) and smaller neck openings. Examples include Shih TzuLhasa ApsoMalteseYorkieDachshund, and very thin dogs.

Additional information regarding listings:  (Please read the 10 items detailed below)

1) Shipments valued at $200 or more must be signed for per the shipper/insurer.

WHY:  If an item were to go missing but tracking shows it delivered to your address you likely will not get reimbursed by the insurance.  I am also not responsible to reimburse you.  So while inconvenient at times this is for your protection.

Note that I only do this on higher value items but the same applies on lesser packages too.  If you live somewhere where you think your packages might be at risk of theft you can arrange with the carrier to hold your package for pick-up.

2) I only ship to an address that is provided to me by eBay.  If you want an item I am selling shipped somewhere other than your eBay address you need to specify the "ship to" address in eBay before or as you are purchasing my item.

WHY:  This is to prevent fraudulent use of your eBay account.

3) I have shipping to PO boxes blocked. Please contact me if you are trying to ship to a PO Box.

WHY:  This is because the USPS only allows themselves to ship to a PO box. So if the item needs to be shipped by another carrier such as FedEx a PO box is not a deliverable address.

4) If you have other questions please ask prior to bidding or buying.  I will reply promptly when possible.

5) I try to provide photos that show the whole item I am selling.  Sometimes the photo limits prevent that when multiple items are sold together.  If you want more detail, photos or otherwise, please contact me.

6) Immediate payment is greatly appreciated on auctions and required on “buy it now” listings.  This allows me to quickly pack and ship your item to you.

7) After I receive notice of payment I will wrap securely and ship quickly via USPS or FedEx  depending on the order characteristics and your location.  The package will be tracked and insured regardless of shipper.

8) If the item is damaged keep the packing materials until we provide the insurer with necessary documentation to process / approve the claim.  If you contact me quickly (within 3 days) after the package is / or shows as delivered and provide the needed photos of the damage and packaging I will submit the claim and refund you quickly.  If there is a delay in your contacting me or you have not retained the packaging or do not provide the photos then you will be responsible for handling the insurance claim to recover your money.  If your package is “lost” or shows as delivered but you have not gotten it you will need to work with / submit the claim for the refund directly with the carrier.

9) Your purchase is not returnable under ordinary circumstances.  However, you are covered by eBay’s Return and Guarantee policies should they apply.  Links to those policies are provided on the items detail page.  I try to be very through in describing items.  I also consider myself fair, honest and reasonable.  If you are too and have an issue with a purchase please contact me

10)  Thank you!  I appreciate your business.
