Made from genuine Sunbrella brand fabric and extremely well reinforced and supported. Unlike the other life sling pouches other sellers offer I show the inner side of the pouch to show how well it is reinforced. Especially around the open top so it stays square and opened if God forbid it every has to be used. Little details are what take more time and add to the usefulness of the pouch. Most of the other eBay seller of LS pouches will not even show the back side or the inner sides which is unfair to their buyers.

If you want the nicest and best made Life Sling pouch you came to the right place. If you want the cheapest lowest cost one you can find I am sorry but I only make top quality items. When the items we buy fail no one ever says to themselves "I wanted the cheapest one made" and instead they blame the manufacturer.
This pouch comes with a piping/welt bead sewn into the seams which adds a nicer shape, stiffness and looks richer than the standard LS pouch which I also list at a lower price.. Piping bead is available in White and also in Black, Carmel, greyish blue (slate blue) . color (your choice)

Up for purchased is a very well made high quality replacement LIFESLING POUCH cover or Ditch Bag pouch measuring 22 inches tall, by 16 inches wide, by 6 inches deep (front to back) Standard original size. Or made in the newer style Lifeling 2 pouch size of approximately 12.6 inches wide across the front. or they can be used as a Ditch Bag to store emergency items in one handy place.

OPTIONAL: A flap to go over the rail and Twist Lock fasteners is $10 option and is shown in 1 of the pictures. Not necessary, but good choice if mounting on Lifelines.
You will not find another like it because it is heavily reinforced around the top opening edge and further down on the sides to keep it open and square shaped and not just unsupported floppy Sunbrella fabric alone, because that would sag without the all of the added reinforcement work I do. Even lying down sideways (see picture) the opening stays open and square. Made from genuine USA made Glen Raven Mills Sunbrella brand marine fabric, not some low cost inferior substitute.. Colors shown are Pacific Blue, and Orange and Natural (white). If you need one in another color Please use Ask Seller a question to first to make sure I have the Sunbrella fabric color you want. I have over 20 Sunbrella fabric colors on hand.
The bottom center of the pouch has a 7/16 inch size brass grommet so the Lifesling attaching line can be routed out the bottom of the pouch and securely attached the line end to your vessel. The grommet at the bottom also assures that any rainwater or ocean spray that enters (not likely) has a way back out. The grommet is reinforced with a extra inner and outer layer of material around it___just as all mounting locations are reinforced (see pictures of reinforcement details)
The opening cover flap (lid) overlaps both sides and the front of the pouch to keep water out and the flap has Velcro along the entire front edge to keep it securely closed.
The flap also has a pull up center strap to use to help in opening the pouch more quickly.
The pouch fastens securely to your aft upper stern rail by using two upper polyester webbing straps that snap closed and that have matching color Sunbrella fabric sewn over the polyester webbing straps. Plus one lower center strap that secures around a stanchion so both the top and the bottom of the pouch is secured to the rails in 3 places. All of the webbing straps have matching color Sunbrella fabric sewn over them. When I make your custom fit pouch I can place that lower stanchion strap either offset to left or right side of pouch to better line up with your stanchion or turn the lower strap sideways for a lower stern rail at no added cost. In addition to the 3 straps for the rails__there are 4 small loop tabs on the back side outer edge seams, just in case it must be tied down also to keep it from sliding across the stern rails.The white color polyester strap material loop tabs can be seen in the last picture showing the back side of the gray color pouch. All strap locations and the bottom grommet are reinforced with an additional outer layer of matching color Sunbrella fabric on the outside, plus a layer of heavy commercial vinyl on the inside of the pouch at mounting strap locations. I will locate the 3 standard strap mounting locations ANYWAY and anyhow and anywhere you need them to best fit your boat at no added cost..
The upper top edges of the pouch are reinforced with several layers of fabric and an inner layer of stiff vinyl to help to keep the pouch in the open position when in use and also has a vinyl bead at the top edge so the line can slide out of the pouch more easily.
All workmanship is guaranteed for 3 years. I guarantee my sewn seams and other workmanship will not fail, threads will not break or pull out, seams will not open up___or free repairs.
You might be able to locate a lower cost genuine Sunbrella fabric replacement Lifesling pouch, but you will never find a better made Sunbrella fabric pouch with all of the reinforcements I add in. .

Available Extra Cost options:
1) Single continuous Sunbrella flap along the upper back of the pouch to go over the stern rail__instead of two separate straps to attach it to the upper rail (shown in one of the pictures) . Flap secured by 2 twist lock fasteners and is $10.00 extra option and it has Vinyl sewn inside the Sunbrella flap for added support and chafe resistance.
2) Two lower attaching straps for a lower stern rail, (instead of the just one center strap designed to go around a stanchion). Cost $5.00 extra for each added extra strap mount beyond the 3 that is standard. Before you consider extra straps please keep in mind they also come with 4 loop tabs in the outer edges so they can also be zip tied or lashed on __in addition to the 3 primary mounting straps.
Neither of these options are necessary, but some of our fellow sailors have asked for them, so I listed them.
The pouch comes with 3 strong sturdy mounting straps, plus 4 loop tasbs in the outher edges to zip tie of lash it down.but if you need more they are $5.00 extra each. Custom fit is no problem for me__just ask and I will locate the mounting points anywhere you want them.. Angled (tilted) rails no problem__ you measure it and I can place (offset) the straps as needed to level it out, as shown in the Orange color pouch with the optional flap slanted, so it hangs straight on that sailors slanted stern rail..

These pouches are also great to use inside your vessel for storage of items you want to protect and keep clean and dry. Also good for for storing items in it that you can use as a ditch bag.
