«©NCSX» After selling over 800,000 copies of the GBA and NDS versions of MushiKing, Sega draws another crowd with a new and updated version of the game. Beetle battling action returns to the Nintendo DS where shelled insects grapple like six-legged wrestlers. The means of battle is janken where hand signs are thrown out by pushing the d-pad - up is for fist (rock), right is for open palm (paper), and left is for the victory sign (scissors). They stylus may also be used to tap out moves. The game features 50 varieties of beetles and over 100 beetle cards which represent attacks, special effects, and defense. Special cards designed exclusively for the Nintendo DS game are also included to make players feel special. For multi-player tournaments, up to eight players may link up for wireless battles.
