Parameters:
1-channel LAN surge arrester, designed for surge protection of devices operating in a 100Mbit LAN network, such as IP-CCTV cameras, Internet of Things, LAN switches, industrial and building automation controllers. It is compatible with 10Base-T and 100Base-T Ethernet networks using any type of cabling. Compared to the previous series, protection against overvoltages in PoE circuits of all types has been ensured, along with discharge of charges to ground. High-quality printed circuits with tuned differential pairs ensure very good transmission parameters and contribute to the elimination of crosstalk that causes unstable operation of LAN networks. The product is intended for installations in which both LAN end devices are connected inside buildings and no part of the cable runs outside the buildings. If the conditions are not met or it is necessary to increase the level of overvoltage protection, a PRO or EXT series limiter should be used. A special connection system also protects the devices against overvoltages against voltage increases on PoE power lines in all possible standards (also transmitted on transmission lines). Lines 4-5 and 7-8 are connected together because LAN Base-100T uses them only for PoE power. The limiter protects both groups of power pairs against voltage increases above 58V and damage to power supplies of end devices such as switches or IP cameras. The PoE power supply transmitted by the limiter can be up to 60W (HiPoE compatible). PTF-51-ECO/PoE ensures continuity of the FTP cable shield, but in the ECO series it is not connected to ground.
