Erstwilder X May Gibbs Christmas Gumnut Babies Holly Wagtail Ornament NIB
Item Description
Erstwilder is a wonderful company from Australia that makes high quality resin jewelry.  They do collaborations with many popular brands.  I first learned of them when they teamed up with Sanrio for a Hello Kitty collab.

This is a collab with May Gibbs (or rather her foundation) who was the author of the insanely popular Australian Children's books about Gumnut Babies named Snugglepot and Cuddlepie.  They have lots of adventures and the different children in the collection designs are based on those stories.

I don't recall if Erstwilder has ever included ornaments in with their collections but here they are!

This is Holly Wagtail who is known by the Gumnut Babies.  

She measures approx 3" high without the hanging ribbon.  These are made out of metal and enamel- much like the lapel pins- so it is a little on the heavy side.  Really nicely done and even if you don't know the story, if you are a bird lover this would be a great addition to your Christmas tree.

This ornament will come complete in the original collab themed box.  Never used or displayed.

Returns
