The classic Borgio the Besieger Dogs of War character, ideal as a mercenary captain, if not a prince of a southern kingdom like Tilea, or perhaps a warlord in the Border Princes.

The cannonball mace head of the stock model has been clipped off, ready to be replaced with a different weapon like a more realistic mace, axe, hammer or perhaps a longsword. You might also replace the mace with baton or a scroll or some other artefact to differentiate this character as a mercenary paymaster rather than a captain.

The long, luxurious beard and the grinning, demon faced helm are certainly distinctive and the sculpt itself is one of the highlights of the Dog of War range.

The miniature, is unpainted does have some thin paint residue, but the stripping was successful and the miniature can and should simply be primed over. No base is supplied.

This miniature is absolutely ideal for someone who wants this classic sculpt in their collection but didn't like the default cannonball mace (you'd have to be extraordinarily strong to wield that with two hands, let alone one) and doesn't want the hassle of sawing through metal to remove it, or the guilt of maiming a long out of production and now rare miniature.
