This is a lovely pair of corner ornaments / corbels, (or now bookends) that have been hand carved. They are from the Brittany region in France and have been carved in a typical Breton style.

The ornaments are made of oak wood. They have been salvaged.

The ornaments were probably made around 1860-1890, in France.

Complete original finials adornments wooden nails dowels. Great craftsmanship and detail.

Condition: Good antique condition, some very minimal wear and natural patina
