The Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Yellow pepper was developed from the Trinidad Scorpion. Pods mature to a brilliant yellow, slightly wrinkled in texture which is a common characteristic of extremely hot chilies. It has a gorgeous, fragrant smell to it and is excellent in sauces. The Trinidad Moruga Scorpion also comes in red and chocolate varieties. Warning: Always use gloves when handling it; be it in the garden or the kitchen.
