This entire set has a single asterisk to the left of the copyright. I have read two reasons for a single or double asterisk. One is that they were used to line up the sheet for cutting. The other is first run and second run. The first seems more likely.

Whatever the reason for the dots is, every card in this set only has one asterisk.
