Role
The HST muffler muffles the exhaust gases generated by the engine and at the same time cools them and directs them to the atmosphere.
The exhaust gases are cooled by heat radiation from the surface of the silencer as well as by heat insulation and expansion inside the silencer, which lowers the temperature.
The most common silencer structure is a combination of an expansion chamber, a resonance chamber, and a shunt structure, but recently a low-frequency resonance chamber is often installed to reduce the noise in the room.
