LOXEAL 83-55 is a one-component anaerobic agent for protecting medium-sized threads against spontaneous loosening and loosening, leaks and corrosion. The product hardens after cutting off the air supply (oxygen) in the gap between two metal surfaces (thread). It is particularly useful where maximum loads on the threaded joint occur (drive systems, structural parts, embedding stud bolts in flange connections). It can be used on less chemically active (slightly oily) surfaces. The glue creates a flexible joint that sufficiently protects the thread against self-loosening and replaces other, most often mechanical, methods: spring, flexible and bent washers, lock nuts, etc. The product is resistant to gas, air, water, oils, alkalis and many other chemicals, as well as to impacts and vibrations. It maintains its properties in a wide range of operating temperatures. It is particularly used where resistance to strong impacts, vibrations and maintaining maximum stresses is required. The glue also guarantees 100% protection against corrosion and tightness. The addition of a fluorescent substance allows the presence of glue in the thread to be detected using a UV lamp. Standard thread protection is achieved with only a small amount of glue in the thread, tightness of the connection is achieved when the coil is completely filled. Maximum thread diameter / gap: M20 / 0.15 mm. Operating temperature range: -55oC +150oC
