Up for auction is an incredible set of 29 John Bellairs books (After John Bellairs' untimely death in 1991, books were completed and new titles written by Brad Strickland), which are COMPLETELY out of print in hardcover format with the Edward Gorey Illustrations! These are almost all FIRST EDITIONS, with many books being FIRST PRINTINGS! These books are a mixture of ex-library and privately owned, most of which are in very good or better condition.

All books have their dust jackets protected in new mylar sleeves.

Ex-library books have has as many library marks removed from the exterior as possible. Library marks are usually on non-story pages, and include stamps, card pockets, security tags, presentation labels, and label/card pocket removal residue.  While a few books do show some wear, all books are securely bound, readable and complete. All dust jackets are in new mylar sleeves, which will protect them for a lifetime. (Note there is some glare on the jacket covers from the camera flash in a few pictures.) This is a great collection! John Bellairs' books are continuing favorites among children and adults. These hardcovers are getting very scarce and can command very high prices, with some used copies selling for over $150-300 apiece! Why struggle to complete a collection on your own when you can buy a complete set at once!
