Bo Hopkins is the man!

This is director Nico Mastorakis apex mountain, by far.  First, because it’s action-packed and sort of crazy, just like you want from Mastorakis.  But mainly because it has his best cast ever.  Bo Hopkins, Wings Hauser, George Kennedy and Brion James  Is that not an exploitation fan’s wet dream?

The plot centers around some road travelers who find themselves stuck in a small town when the residents turn into homicidal maniacs, part of a government plot to test out a biological weapon.   Hauser is awesome as a raging a-hole lawyer.  Kennedy has one of the best exploitation deaths ever.  But Hopkins steals the show as the coolest motherf***** in the world.  Because BO HOPKINS IS THE MAN!
