Municipal Reports San Francisco, Ca Fiscal Year 1894 – 1895 Geo. Beanston 1st ed.

This is a bound volume of the municipal reports for the city of San Francisco, California in San Francisco County for the fiscal year 1894 – 1895 ending June 30, 1895. The police reports are an interesting study in citizen behavior. Geo. Beanston is embossed on the front cover, who is listed as a Secratary on the Board of Education in a San Francisco City Directory. Beanston likely held the position years before as well. It is a leather bound copy, but the condition of the boards is very poor. The top, fore, and tail edge are gold-gilt. The cover is also embossed with a nice design. The item is in poor condition. Despite its age, it has numerous examples of staining, tears, nicks, fading, and others marks. Both hinges are nearly broken; boards are hanging by a thread. The spine is missing its cover. Part of the spine was between pages and left a permanent mark on those pages (pictured in listing photos). That piece of spine is now sitting inside the cover. The pages themselves are in much better condition. Slight browning but no obscuring marks or tears to text itself. No loose pages. Please inspect photos to ensure condition is to your liking.
