This handpainted kiln fired glass window was originally in a huge orphanage in New York City.

I was told the orphanage was located in the Bronx, believed to have been:

ROMAN CATHOLIC ORPHAN ASYLUM


Dates to around 1902


THE GLASS IS CRAZY WAVY AND BUBBLY


THIS PANEL HAS BEEN FULLY RESTORED.


-GLASS CLEANED AND WAXED.

-INTERIOR LEAD CLEANED /REFRESHED

-EXTERIOR: ZINC APPLIED TO TOP/BOTTOM

-SIDES OUTFITTED WITH NEW LEAD



Buyer may want to frame it in wood.


Measures approximately:

17 5/8" tall, by 28 1/8" wide by about 1/4" thick


There are no visible cracks. There is a tiny chip in one of the plain yellow tiles on top... you'd really have to look hard to see it. It's on the corner edge.
