Details: This elegant box is an excellent example of the traditional Persian handicrafts of marquetry, known as Khatamkari, in which strips of brass, various woods and bone are fused together and sliced into small pieces that are precisely positioned to form intricate geometric patterns.

Care: The fine craftwork is protected with a clear resin coat, which can be gently wiped off
with a damp cloth.  The use of abrasives or harsh chemicals is not recommended.

Condition: This box is brand new and would make a striking addition to any wall and would make
a lovely wedding or house-warming gift.
