Item for sale: Brother MFC-J4420DW All-in-One InkJet Printer FOR PARTS READ DESCRIPTION

 

Condition description:

This item is being sold for parts and does not function properly, or does not work all together

Testing:

This printer has given me a lot of issues. When I first got the printer, it was low on all ink levels. I replaced all the cartridges, and did print head cleaning and alignment. Now it only prints black. After several cleanings and alignments, I can only print black

Moreover, the off brand cartridges are giving me inconsistent results. It will register in the printer as being full, then after a cleaning, it will say low or even empty. Sometimes the printer will prompt me to re install the cartridges "firmly" and I have to try several times to get the message to go away.

I AM STUMPED ON THIS PRINTER

The item is in good cosmetic condition but has some signs of use (see pics for more detail). Signs of use include scratching, scuffs, small dings, paint transfer, and other signs of normal use.

Anything more severe will be described.
