orchestral passage that opens the EP's title track, directly into a bombardment
of blackened intensity and rampant grandeur, these New Jersey-born extremists are
returned, rising from the ashes like a phoenix. They are reborn and swear to the darkness. A
imminent fire that will leave even the faithful of LORNA SHORE dismayed.
As the world shut down in 2020, LORNA SHORE delved deeper into instinct
creative that initially made them a staple of the extreme metal scene with albums
reference: 2015's "Psalms" and 2017's "Flesh Coffin". Since then, they have been intertwined
influences and ideas ranging from the symphonic darkness of European black metal to
complex fatal sound formulas of death metal and the acoustic intensities of hardcore.
What LORNA SHORE have achieved is a new level of blackened technicality
and the next step in their journey to the darkside. Embellished with the artwork of the well-known
Polish painter Mariusz Lewnadowski (Bell Witch, Fuming Mouth) "...And I Return to
Nothingness" reaffirms LORNA SHORE's focus and creative intensity. Three o'clock
EP tracks: "To the Hellfire", "Of the Abyss" and the title track are proof that LORNA
SHORE aren't just continuing their fiery legacy. They're turning it back on and
