Details: Unable to set using master ring gage. This is a common electrical issue with SPI internal micrometers. All the other electrical features work and the micrometer mechanically functions fine. The internal rotary encoder accurately measures changes in anvil position. A workaround the issue is measuring a known master ring gage (ex. 2.00") and zeroing the display. A correction of +2.00" is then applied to the display reading when measuring an unknown diameter.
