Note from Sturtevant Richmont:
Please note that these wrenches click in one direction meaning that they apply and measure torque in the clockwise direction. This preset torque wrench comes with an arrow engraved on the case that calls out which direction torque will be applied and measured. You can use this tool to loosen a fastener in the counterclockwise direction, but you will NOT be able to measure the amount of applied torque.
When the wrench clicks, the designated amount of torque has been applied. Stop pulling. Continuing to pull after the wrench clicks can increase the applied torque to a value that exceeds the engineering specification.
