The Island of Dr. Moreau is the futuristic science-fiction thriller of a mad scientist's shocking experiments with genetic research, based on the chilling novel by renowned writer H.G. WELLS. 

En route to fulfill an assignment for the United Nations, EDWARD PRENDICK's plane crashes in the South Pacific Ocean. Rescued by a freighter, Pendrick is taken to a mysterious island where the infamous DR. MOREAU conducts his secret experiments.

On the island, Prendick is surrounded by a strange race of people who act and look nearly human, but clearly not. Prendick is captured by the mutants and brought to Dr. Moreau. The doctor explains that he is creating the perfect race utilizing genes from animals and that the government is not only aware of his research, they're funding it.

Dr. Moreau prepares for his most advanced and agressive mutation, but the experiments go awry as chaos and savagery erupts among the remaining mutants on the island.

Can Prendick co-exist with these mutants or should they be wiped off the face of the planet forever? A final twist leaves him doubting his own sanity.
