Based on the watch worn by US Forces during the Vietnam War
Including the size as these watches are also made to the approx. size of the original specifications.
which were mainly 33mm {without crown}
These are also a lot tougher then the originals, made to 'take a kicking and keep on ticking'
It was such a popular design that the dial layout is still used to this day
