ATOMIC WEREWOLVES AND MAN-EATING PLANTS: WHEN MEN'S ADVENTURE MAGAZINES GOT WEIRD is a unique, lushly illustrated collection of vintage men's pulp adventure magazine stories and artwork about monsters, ghosts, aliens, robots and weirdos like the "Mad Doctor of No Name Key," This listing is for the deluxe, expanded hardcover edition, which includes a story and several background sidebars not included in the paperback edition (which I sell in another listing).

It includes stories by “weird tales” luminaries such like H.P. Lovecraft, Manly Wade Wellman, Theodore Sturgeon, and Gardner Fox. Featured artists include FAMOUS MONSTERS magazine legend Basil Gogos, EC/MAD magazine artist Jack Davis, and many other great artists who did cover and interior artwork for MAMS. The cover of the men’s adventure magazine each story appeared in is reproduced in full color, along with the original interior illustrations. Background on the stories, writers and artists is provided in commentary by well-known horror expert Stefan Dziemianowicz, PulpFest Convention organizer and pulp magazine expert Mike Chomko, and Men’s Adventure Library co-editors Wyatt Doyle and Robert Deis.

Here’s the Table of Contents...
