Everything works! Music sings Bing Crosby “White Christmas” sounds so nice!

The battery compartment is at the bottom, it takes 3 AA batteries. There is another battery compartment on the top, but I don’t know what it could possibly be for, put the piece doesn’t latch. I’ll pack in a bag so it doesn’t get lost. Please see pictures!

Box also says Santa takes gift from bag, but even in the instruction book there is no bag or mention of that?
