This vintage acoustic Spanish type guitar is a true gem for any musician or collector. Crafted in Paracho, Michoacan, Mexico, for the Casa Veerkampf a reputed musical instruments seller in Mexico City. Goya, written in Gothic script (see picture of the alphabet written in that Late Medieval Central European script to compare the D and the Y) over a picture of a portrait by Rembrandt (XVII century Dutch painter).

The brand name at the time was an homonym to the Swedish Goya guitars, yet unrelated as a brand. Produced for a small local market of affordable priced local crafted guitars for musical students.
I have been the sole owner and player of this instrument. Went into storage 10 years ago after my guitar playing husband died. I played with him. Earlier this year, his Takamine got sold and I decided it was good time for my Mexican Goya to find someone that will play her.

The guitar is in great shape and has been well-maintained over the years.
