In this listing:

A vintage Edwards door buzzer alarm/project  - 2 coil

The real deal here is the cotton covered wiring as seen in the photos- both winding are in good order

All steel casing, not those cheap aluminum jobs they sell now ( if they even sell them any more!)

This buzzer will work using a standard 9 vdc battery so I would not exceed 12 volts (either AC or DC)

Higher voltages will wear out the contact spring and cause arching and excessive wear and eventual failure

There is some light rust along with some paint chips on the cover and main body sides
