For your consideration is an antique Fotoescultura or photo sculpture from Mexico. This piece is in the art deco style and most likely dates to the 1930’s. This is a one-ok-a-kind object that can be considered collectible folk art. Beautifully executed and featuring a handsome officer or military man with a mustache. There is wear on the piece consistent with its age. I believe there once was glass covering the portrait and held in by the metal tacks.
