This is an OFFICIAL AMERICAN LEAGUE (MacPhail) Baseball signed by Baseball Hall of Famer, 19x All Star, 2x AL MVP, 2x Triple Crown Winner, 6x AL Batting Champion, 4x AL Homerun leader, 4x AL RBI Leader and former Red Sox outfielder TED WILLIAMS in blue pen.  The signature rates an 8/10.  The ball itself is moderately toned and spotted throughout.  Please look at pictures for further detail.  I am happy to send/post more pictures upon request, if needed.

DID YOU KNOW?   In 1941, Williams posted a .406 batting average, making him the last MLB player to bat over .400 in a season. He followed this up by winning his first Triple Crown in 1942. Williams interrupted his baseball career in 1943 to serve three years in the US Navy and US Marine Corps during World War II. Upon returning to MLB in 1946, Williams won his first AL MVP Award and played in his only World Series. In 1947, he won his second Triple Crown. Williams was returned to active military duty for portions of the 1952 and 1953 seasons to serve as a Marine combat aviator in the Korean War. In 1957 and 1958 at the ages of 39 and 40, respectively, he was the AL batting champion for the fifth and sixth time.

Williams died in 2002 at age 83.

This ball was originally purchased through a reputable auction house and I will GUARANTEE THE AUTHENTICITY of the signature with a FULL money back promise if PSA or JSA happens to think otherwise.  I have been collecting, buying and selling baseball autographs for close to 40 years and am considered an expert in the field.  Take a look at the photos, consider my 100% POSITIVE feedback and BID WITH CONFIDENCE.  Please also take a look at my other auctions for more great signed baseballs!

I price ALL of my baseballs to SELL...usually lower priced than all other comparable balls on eBay at the time of listing (seriously...check it out!).  I do list with a "Best Offer" option as again, I am here to SELL these balls, even though I feel my initial pricing is fair.  If you have a reasonable amount in mind, please send an offer.  Worst thing that could happen is for me to decline the offer.  If I counter the offer, it means we're close...let's work together to make it happen.  Thanks for looking!  Brandon
