Up for sale is a 2019 Silver1oz Peace&Liberty UHR NGC PF70REVPF 1stReleases Taylor/Mercanti. Signed on the obverse by Susan Taylor, Designer and on the reverse John Mercanti, Designer. The medal is Official from Canada. All coins come from customers. There may be wear and/or markings. Please view photos and feel free to ask questions. The following description is from govmint: In Ottawa, Ontario, a large granite arch rises over a group of 22 soldiers in Canada’s Confederation Square. Topped by two bronze sculptures – female personifications of Peace and Liberty – the arch is Canada’s National War Memorial, and one of the country’s most revered sites. Those two poetic statues now form the basis of a ground-breaking series that brings two of the world’s most accomplished coin designers together on one spectacular program: Canada’s 2019 Peace & Liberty Silver Medal!

This release marks the first time ever that artists from the Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) and the U.S. Mint have come together to design a medal! Retired RCM Senior Engraver Susan Taylor designed the “Peace” side of the medal while former U.S. Mint Chief Engraver John Mercanti brings us the exquisite “Liberty” on the obverse.

Not only was this fabulous medal minted in one full ounce of highly-pure 99.99% fine silver, but it is struck in Ultra High Relief so that every detail is showcased in epic fashion. In addition, the 2019 Canada Peace & Liberty Ultra High Relief One-Ounce Silver Medal has been graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as being in perfect Proof-70 (PF70) condition, a distinction that means your perfectly-graded proof will have ZERO imperfections – showing all features and fields exactly as the engraver and mint intended.

In addition, your Peace & Liberty One-Ounce Silver Medal will also be certified as a First Releases (FR) medal by NGC, meaning that it was among the first struck by the mint and was verified within the first 30 days of issue. Collectors seek out these pieces because they are produced with new dies and considered to have sharper strikes and deeper mirrors than those that are struck later. Also, the population of coins and medals labeled First Releases is only a fraction of the total mintage. It will come sonically sealed in acrylic holder with black display core.

The Royal Canadian Mint has set the maximum worldwide limited edition for this first-ever collaborative proof at just 3,000 – a ridiculously small number for all the collectors north and south of the border would like to own this first-ever silver proof. Make sure you’re one of those lucky few and click this to your cart today!

Lets discuss offers: If we have make an offer enabled, please make a reasonable offer. We try to pay a fair price when we buy coins, so 30% off offers will be ignored. eBay makes more per coin when you buy it than I do. If we do not have that option enabled, please DO NOT email us about a lower price.

Lets discuss feedback: We are not perfect. When we make a mistake, we will admit to it and fix it. We respectfully request that you leave 5 star feed back to help maintain our seller fees low. Most people do not realize that 4-star seller ratings make sellers fees go up. Please consider that when leaving feedback.

We use barcodes to track all our items. This is the little 4 character code, 3QEL, written on the holder.

Your item will ship in a nondescript box or bubble mailer with tracking, signature required, and insurance when necessary.

When ordering multiple items, order them together to save on shipping. Multiple items ordered separately may result in your order being delayed an additional day.

Guaranteed Authentic

All our items are 100% Authentic and genuine. We have EXTENSIVE training in counterfeit coins and currency. There is an astronomical amount of counterfeit coins out there. We have intentionally purchased coins directly from China, so that all our employees have them to reference to PREVENT buying them. These coins were used in an actual ANA counterfeit detection class, which was attended by all our employees. We have also won awards for our counterfeit display at coin shows.

Accurate Grading

Of course, grading is subjective. It is simply an opinion. You know, everyone has one. We grade strictly in accordance with the ANA Grading Standard. Our Chief Grader, Bill, finished in the top of the ANA Summer Seminar Advanced Grading Class. This class is taught by senior graders at PCGS, NGC, and ANACS. He is also an authorized dealer for these grading services.

ABOUT US

Low Country Coins was established in 2006 by Bill, while on active duty in the U.S. Navy (now retired from active duty). Early on, we figured out that selling coins online would only work if you accurately represent your coins, offer them at a fair price, and provide excellent customer service. Now we are one of the largest online retailers of coins and currency in the US, and the largest in SC.
